Van Driver - Meridian Business Support : Job Details

We are recruiting for Van Drivers to work AM shift in South Ockendon with start times from 0530 working 5 days out of 7 including weekends. This is an ongoing role working for a well known retailer with the potential to go permanent with them in the future!! Shifts: working 5 days out of 7 (including weekends) start times from 0530 - 7-10 hour shifts (minimum 5 hours pay)Pay Rate: £13.55 per hour +  overtime over 40 hours paid at £20.33 per hour (Bank Holidays at £27.11 per hour!!)As a Van Driver you will work as part of a wider team with the following responsibilities:

• Deliver goods to the retail stores using Mercedes Sprinters
• Conduct a maximum of 12 drops in any one shift
• Scan items on arrival to each drop off point
• Load and unload goods 

We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

• UK Driving License
• At least 6 months experience as Van Driver, Multi Drop Driver or similar
• No more than 6 points on license 
• Ideally experience of driving a long wheel base van
• Willing to undertake a driving assessment prior to starting
• Excellent customer service skills
