Varicent System Administrator

• Location: Northolt, West London
• Reporting to: Head of IT
• Salary: up to £40k
• Type: Full time, Onsite (not hybrid/remote)

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Northolt.

• Manage and maintain the Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform to ensure accurate compensation calculations for employees.
• Configure the system to meet business needs and streamline workflows, ensuring it operates smoothly and efficiently.
• Act as the go-to expert for troubleshooting and supporting the platform, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.

• Configure and update the Varicent platform, including rules, workflows, and user access for secure operations.
• Integrate data between Varicent and other business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP) to ensure seamless operations.
• Audit, validate, and troubleshoot data discrepancies to maintain accurate compensation records.
• Create reports and dashboards to provide insights into employee performance and compensation metrics.
• Document system processes and updates to support training and efficient knowledge sharing among team members.
• Collaborate with key departments (e.g., Finance, Sales, IT) to design and test new compensation plans and implement changes.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field with experience managing Varicent or similar platforms.
• Proficient in SQL, data integration, and configuring Varicent for compensation processes.
• Knowledge of incentive compensation principles to ensure fair and efficient payouts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Preferred: Varicent certification, experience with Version 10+, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
