We are seeking a VAT Accountant for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract role within the Manufacturing industry. This key position requires a detail-oriented professional who is adept at handling VAT-related matters across multiple European countries.

Description

• Prepare and submit VAT returns and related declarations
• Assist with VAT audits and provide VAT advisory support across the organisation
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT legislation and practices
• Ensure VAT compliance in all business operations
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors on VAT matters
• Support the Accounting & Finance department with other duties as required

Profile

A successful VAT Accountant should have:

• Accounting or tax qualification
• Proficiency in VAT legislation and practices
• European VAT experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
