VAT Assistant Manger - Rutherford Briant : Job Details

Are you a VAT professional, looking to join an exciting Top 10 firm in London and grow your career within the expanding team?  This Top 10 firm are Private Equity backed, and looking to grow organically as much as possible, winning tenders from the Top 4, whilst retaining their Mid-Tier style culture. They're a super exciting business, with very modern offices and great transport links!  What you will do in the role:

• Prepare and review VAT returns and annual adjustments
• Work with the wider team to assess partial exemptions
• Prepare voluntary declarations for VAT.
• Advise on liability queries such as VAT treatment around deals and transactions, contract reviews, etc.

What you will need:

• Prior VAT or Indirect Tax experience, ideally gained within a Practice environment. However, industry experience will also be considered
• Currently operating at Senior Associate capacity, looking for a step-up, or Assistant Manager and looking for better progression routes
• CTA or ATT Qualified
