Job Title: VAT Administrator

Location: SolihullSalary: £27000 - £28000Hours: 9am - 5:pm (with flexibility to work either 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm)

Term: 6-month Fixed Term Contract

You will be joining an exhilarating team providing VAT support that is second to none!

About the Role:

As a VAT Administrator, you will be an integral part of the small VAT team, responsible for handling various functions to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:

Gathering required information for driver registrationsCollaborating with the customer service team to obtain missing detailsProcessing applications to HMRCAssisting in the preparation, review, and submission of driver VAT returns using our internal software packageData ManagementMaintaining up-to-date records across our CRM systemsProviding prompt and thorough responses to driver queriesOffering accurate calculations when needed

Qualifications and Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong numerical abilitiesExceptional communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with HMRC systems and processesGood understanding of UK VATPrevious experience within a SAAS business
