• As VAT Manager, you will lead and develop a team of VAT professionals, providing technical guidance and mentoring to ensure delivery of exceptional client service
• Manage complex VAT advisory projects across various sectors, including technology, real estate, financial services, and retail
• Review VAT returns and provide strategic advice on VAT planning opportunities, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for VAT matters
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including proposal writing and attending client pitches
• Collaborate with other service lines to provide integrated tax solutions and cross-sell opportunities
• Stay current with VAT legislation changes and effectively communicate updates to both team members and clients

• Minimum 5 years' VAT experience, with at least 2 years at manager level
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK VAT legislation and its practical application
• Experience in managing and developing team members
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills
• Excellent project management and organisational abilities
• Central London based or able to commute to Central London office
