Manchester

4 Days per week based in the office and one day per week working from home

Salary: £37,000

Hours of Work: Full Time, PermanentMon - Fri - 9.00am - 5.00pm

Role Requirements:

• - Member of either IAEA / IMI / IRTE / ATA / VDA is essential
• - 2 years of Motor Claims knowledge including a basic understanding of insurance principles is essential
• - Good working knowledge of computerised damage estimating systems, including Audatex is essential
• - Accuracy and attention to detail
• - Positive and self-confident approach when dealing with our customers.
• - PC literate with good administrative skills
• - Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessary.
• -Experience within a role of Motor Engineer / Vehicle Assessor / Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator

• As a Motor Engineer, your role encompasses overseeing all aspects of motor inspections using state-of-the-art technology to evaluate and audit estimates before authorising repairs efficiently.

• Occasionally, you will engage in negotiating settlements for motor vehicles, directly liaising with our customers.

• You will work within agreed timeframes and business parameters, tailored to meet the needs of the company.

• Constant communication with repairers, business partners, and suppliers is essential to ensure the smooth processing of claims and to achieve optimal engineering outcomes on the first attempt.

• Additionally, you will conduct audits to assess repairer performance, providing recommendations on repair quality, costs, and customer service.

• It's crucial to ensure that all work is carried out within agreed KPIs and SLAs and in accordance with our company values.
