We are assisting in recruiting for a Vehicle Damage Assessor at their new base in Darlington! You will be ensuring vehicle repairs are viable, whilst meeting satisfaction and suitable profit levels. Duties as a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
- Ensuring vehicle repairs can be successfully carried out
- Generating profit margins
- Working closely with the team and qualified technicians
- Preparing estimates, whilst meeting relevant requirements
- Meeting customer satisfaction standards
- Meeting timeframes as well as ordering and tracking suitable parts
- Upkeeping filing systems in relation to all estimate activity
- Gaining authorisation on parts and liaise with internal parties to ensure a smooth process of completion
- Liaising with external parties and building relationships
- General ad-hoc duties relevant to the post
Skills:
- Experience in a Vehicle Damage Assessor position
- VDA / ATA qualified (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills on all levels
- Strong organisational skills
- A natural relationship building ability
- The ability to multi-task and act quickly
- A good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
To be successful as a Vehicle Damage Assessor you will be proactive, with a keen eye for detail, able to prioritise tasks.
