Vehicle Technician / MOT TesterBolton, BL3£30,600 pa + overtime + bonus, OTE £35,990 paMon – Fri shifts between 8am and 6pm1-in-4 Sat mornings on rota 8:30am to 12:30pm 

Renault Bolton is looking for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our dealership’s workshop.

The role involves carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs of cars and vans to the highest standards whilst maintaining optimal efficiencies and first-time fix.

Candidates should have

• own tools
• Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQs in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualifications, and
• a full UK Driver’s licence

Candidates should preferably have main dealer workshop experience and individuals that also have current DVSA Certification for MOT Testing will be prioritised. Branded workwear and PPE will be provided to the successful applicant.

In this job we operate Monday to Friday plus Saturdays on rota in the following pattern:

• 3 weekdays - 8:30am to 5pm with ½ hr lunch
• 1 weekday - 8am to 4:30pm with ½ hr lunch
• 1 weekday - 9:30am to 6pm with ½ hr lunch
• 1-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota, 8:30am to 12:30pm

In return we offer a £31,659 pa basic salary. This comprises £30,600 pa for weekday work + £1,038 pa for 1-in-4 Saturday mornings paid at time-and-a-half. Uncapped monthly bonuses are paid on top of this which add circa £4,000-£6,000 pa to your earnings.
