Vehicle Technician - Meridian Business Support : Job Details

Meridian Business Support are delighted to be working with a national used car dealership to recruit for Vehicle Technicians at their dedicated service centre in Cannock.Our client focuses on customer satisfaction and is known for their excellent customer service and each vehicle undergoes a rigorous inspection to ensure quality.The company provides an extensive online platform where customers can browse various makes and models, ranging from family SUVs to luxury cars, and view detailed information such as service history, 360-degree tours, and high-resolution images.Role Responsibilities:

• To carry out the company inspection process as detailed on the checklist, noting all areas requiring repair or service
• To repair vehicle faults as identified either by the checklist or during the repair process
• To use the company system to request parts for vehicles
• To ensure the efficient and effective use of workshop facilities and equipment
• To determine priorities and allocate tasks in liaison with supervisor
• To advise on best methods of repair and determine repair times in consultation with service manager
• To ensure daily, weekly, monthly targets are met
• To be able to undertake a full range of workshop duties

Person Specification:

• Must have either level 2/level 3 accredited qualification(accepts experienced technicians)
• Must have MOT testing licence
• Full driving licence required
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Experience in use of diagnostic tools and equipment

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000Work Pattern: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm plus every other Saturday Morning 8.30am-12.30pm plus overtime available.Opportunity to earn up to £125 a week in bonuses plus uncapped overtime.Benefits:
