Vehicle Technician/ MOT Tester Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform MOT tests in accordance with legal standards and company procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Complete vehicle inspections and provide accurate reports on their condition.
• Work closely with the service team to manage vehicle repairs and parts ordering.
• Keep accurate records of all work undertaken and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining issues and recommending appropriate repairs and maintenance.

Vehicle Technician/ MOT Tester Skills and Experience:

• NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair and Maintenance is preferable.
• Extensive experience in vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and the latest diagnostic tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Good communication skills with the ability to provide clear explanations to customers.
• A proactive attitude with a keen attention to detail and a focus on quality work.
