This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Test and Evaluation Team as a Verification and Certification Lead.  Utilising cutting-edge technology and working in a highly collaborative team environment, you'll play a leading role in ensuring our systems meet essential performance and safety standards for our customers.

Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our Verification and Certification Team within the Test and Evaluation function. This role is crucial in ensuring that our systems meet the necessary performance and safety standards, supporting the delivery of high quality and reliable solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the verification and certification processes to ensure that the highest standards of quality and compliance are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, testing, and systems engineering, to validate system performance.
  • Support project planning and management to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and meet key requirements.
  • Provide clear documentation of test outcomes, assessments and any risks identified during testing.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of systems and resolve issues effectively.

What we're looking for from you:

  • Demonstrable background of experience in the verification and certification process
  • Experience in a systems testing or similar related role
  • Expertise in the validation and certification process associated methodologies, including environmental, EMC and electronic functionality
  • Solid experience of work package management
  • The ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to document findings thoroughly and accurately.
