We're seeking a future team member for the role of Innovation Engagement Lead to join our EMEA Innovation Center team, within the Strategic Partnerships, Investment & Innovation organization. This role is located in London - Hybrid. Job overviewThe Innovation Engagement Lead will play a pivotal role in driving successful innovation activities across our global footprint. You will engage cross functional teams, service designers, technology partners in identifying, managing, and executing innovation initiatives with both internal stakeholders and clients. The role will focus on identifying and converting innovation opportunities into structured projects and proof-of-concepts that deliver tangible business and commercial impact. This position will ensure all initiatives are aligned and support our innovation strategy while addressing core business challenges. Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, convert client and stakeholder opportunities: Collaborate with the Head of International Innovation in cultivating client and stakeholder engagement, converting identified opportunities into viable innovation initiatives that directly align with EMEA business strategy and associated innovation goals.
  • Manage ideation, and user research activities: In partnership with our service design team, facilitate and participate in client and stakeholder discovery workshops, capturing key insight, pain points and opportunities, to inspire and underpin future innovation initiatives.
  • Thematic research and trend analysis: Conduct market analysis and industry research on emerging technology trends impacting financial services, leveraging insights to inspire and drive new client workshop opportunities and initiate innovation projects.
  • Engagement management and execution: Manage innovation projects through our discovery and execution lifecycle (Kanban), put hypothesis to test and establish a commercial path for the production deployment of new products and services.
  • Cross functional coordination: Partner with mixed disciplined, agile product teams including senior business leaders, engineers, designers, and researchers to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
  • Client event management: In partnership with client coverage teams, host client events in the London Innovation Centre, coordinating inspiring presentations and workshops to drive client engagement and co-creation opportunities.
  • Stakeholder relationship management: Engage, manage, and maintain effective relationships with EMEA business leadership and senior global stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Relevant years of experience in the Financial Services industry with strong track record of delivering client solutions and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience with service design, enterprise innovation frameworks and user research methodologies will be essential.
  • A portfolio showcasing past experiences in delivering client outcomes and impact, and successes in greenfield innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic mindset to align innovation initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Experience working in agile and collaborative environments, managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Figjam, and Miro.
