Warehouse Assistant - First Recruitment Services : Job Details

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant to join a busy and growing company based in the Littlehampton area. This is a warehouse role working both indoors and outdoors with a lot of manual handling involved. Training will be provided but if you have warehouse, stores, retail stock room, production or manufacturing experience it would be an advantage. You’ll need to be within a commutable distance of the Littlehampton area and you’ll need your own transport due to location.

As a Warehouse Assistant your role will include:

• Ensuring that the warehouse is kept tidy to maintain a safe working environment
• Moving goods in and out of the warehouse
• Preparing customer orders for despatch and loading them onto the correct vehicles
• Ensuring that all correct forms are filled when goods are delivered into the warehouse

Skills Required:

• Previous warehouse experience is ideal but not essential
• Great communication skills both written and verbally
• Forklift experience is ideal but not essential as training can be provided

This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm on an annual salary of £24,200. The site is based near Littlehampton but you will need to drive with your own transport due to location.
