ERTS Coordinator

We are working with a growing privately owned company that are looking for an ERTS Coordinator to join the team in Felixstowe. This role is ideal for someone with a background in logistics, and experience in warehouse or customs operations would be highly advantageous. As an ERTS Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our logistics operations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee and manage the ERTS (Enhanced Remote Transit Shed) operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
- Coordinate the movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Liaise with customs officials and ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted correctly.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that stock is stored and handled correctly.
- Work closely with the logistics team to plan and optimise warehouse space.
- Respond to any issues or queries related to customs and warehouse operations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and changes in customs regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics, with a strong understanding of warehouse or customs operations.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling and processing documentation.
