We are looking for a Depot Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage a team, and ensure operational efficiency at our clients' depot in St Albans. The successful candidate will have a strong background depot management or logistics, with a focus on maintaining high standards of health and safety, inventory control, and customer service.

• Team Management of the small depot team
• Operations Coordination - oversee day to day
• Coordinate logistics for accurate distribution of products.
• Inventory Control - manage stock levels utilising depot management software.
• H&S compliance and regulations
• Conduct safety checks and risk assessments.
• Maintenance oversight - supervise maintenance of depot vehicles/equipment
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on stock, deliveries and depot
• Customer service, addressing issues or queries promptly.
• Provide training and development for depot staff 
• Process Improvement 

• Proven experience in depot management, logistics, or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
• Good understanding of logistics, inventory control, and depot operations.
• Knowledge of H&S regulations.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in depot management software and IT systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid forklift truck license and understanding of safety regulations for forklift operation.
