Warehouse Forklift Driver - Reed : Job Details

My very successful market leading client, located in Golborne, Warrington are seeking a dedicated FLT Driver & Warehouse Operative for an immediate start. This role involves both operating a Counterbalance and a High Reach and light warehouse duties in a dynamic work environment. 

A trustworthy, reliable candidate is required as the warehouse is of small/medium size with a small number of warehouse operatives working together as a team.

• Annual Salary: £24,000
• Location: Golborne, WA3
• Job Type: Temp to Perm
• Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 09:00 – 17:00, Friday 09:00 – 16:30 (37 hours per week)

Day-to-day of the role:

• Operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts to move and organise stock within the warehouse.
• Picking and packing goods in an efficient and timely manner.
• Packaging good ready for despatch via courier.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment.
• Adhering to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Assisting with stock checks and inventory management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid certification for high reach and counterbalance forklifts (in-house certificate acceptable).
• Proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining high safety standards in the workplace.
