Core responsibilities will typically include:
- Working with the Warehouse Supervisor and Team Leader, you will ensure all warehouse KPI’s are being met, whilst driving operational improvements.
- Responsible for the warehouse inventory and supporting departments with floor stock, you will maintain the accurate receipt of goods in, inventory and the dispatch of all products.
- Employee engagement and Leadership – managing a team of 11.
- Foster and establish H&S best practice.
Management of all warehouse activity including:
- Servicing Departments.
- Monitor compliance.
- Monthly Stock take.
- Productivity.
- Warehouse utilisation.
- Management of goods in & goods out.
- Yard Management.
- H&S management.
Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Proven success in a relevant warehouse management role.
- Successful track record of leading and developing a Warehouse team.
- Experience of working for a small to medium (SME) sized company.
- Real appetite to develop and improve the warehouse strategy and drive efficiencies.
- Proficient in systems (MS Office).
- Used to working with warehouse MRP and ERP systems.
- Positive, motivated with excellent time and task management skills.
- Hold a Very Narrow Aisle Licence.
