Pertemps are working with a local distributor who are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team. Their busy stock room requires someone who is organized, efficient, and capable of handling various tasks, including heavy lifting and forklift driving. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.Location: Hemel HempsteadJob Type: Full-TimeSalary: £12.50 per hourMonday to Friday 9am - 5pm You must have a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to be considered for this roleKey Responsibilities:Stock Management: Receive, check, and store incoming goods accurately.Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move and organize stock as needed.Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.General Duties: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, assist with loading and unloading deliveries, and perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or stock room environment is preferred.Forklift License: Valid counterbalance forklift driving license is essential.Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items.Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
