Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. The role involves ensuring the efficient handling of goods within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching orders. • Receive, check, and process incoming deliveries, ensuring all goods are accounted for and in good condition.
• Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer requirements and company standards.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles safely using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts (if certified).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate records are kept.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks, scanners, and IT systems for stock control.
• Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring they are securely packaged and correctly labeled.
• Assist with returns processing, ensuring goods are correctly categorized and stored.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
• Report any damaged or missing goods to the Warehouse Manager promptly.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and maintaining records.
• Physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and IT systems is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
