We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our team for a 2-week placement from Thursday, 5th December to Friday, 20th December. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.

Location: York 

Pay: £11.50 per hour 

Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday:  8am – 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Forklift Truck (FLT) driver with moving slabs to the machinery.
• Ensure the yard is kept clean and organised.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Perform other general yard duties as required.

Requirements:

• No FLT licence required, as you will not be operating the forklift.
• Must have own transport due to the location and lack of active bus times.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling.
