The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be at the heart of our mixing and processing operations, ensuring seed orders are accurately prepared and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily seed mixtures through the mixing plant.
• Accurately mix, pack, weigh, seal, and label orders.
• Stack pallets for collection or delivery.
• Wrap pallets and ensure accurate labeling before dispatch.
• Load and unload lorries (forklift certificate advantageous).
• Liaise with the stock control supervisor regarding shortages.
• Maintain paperwork and comply with standards.
• Keep the warehouse tidy and free from hazards.
• Conduct basic machine maintenance and vehicle cleaning/fueling.
• Assist with log sorting, bagging, and deliveries during winter months.
• Provide excellent customer service during collections and deliveries.
• Support and train new team members when required.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a physical, fast-paced environment and takes pride in their work. About you:

• The ability to lift up to 30kg unaided.
• Resilience to work in temperature extremes (-10°C to 35°C).
• Fluency in English and strong mental arithmetic skills.
• Flexibility for long shifts (up to 12 hours).
• Access to reliable transport due to limited public transport links.
