Warehouse Stock ControllerLocation: Head OfficeSalary: £23,000 - £25,000 DOE Depending on experienceHours: 8:45 am—5:45 pmJob Type: Full timeContract Type: PermanentWe’re on the lookout for Stock Controllers!LA Micro Group is an independent technology group, home to LA Direct Solutions and Bytestock. Having just moved to a larger warehouse facility, we’re expanding our team.We’re hiring Stock Controllers to join our engineering department. Our engineering department is responsible for building and supplying quality and bespoke computers to our customers fulfil their exact requirements.If you have warehousing experience and experience in stock control using IT systems we would love to hear from you!Key responsibilities:

• Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock lost and stock holding
• Maximise stock system accuracy
• Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations
• Ensure that goods inward/stock control department is well organised and controlled
• Receipt incoming product and manage appropriately according to company procedures
• Ensure stock is available and found for orders in a tight timescale
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system
• Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved

You will be:

• Experienced in stock inventory in a warehouse environment
• Using IT Systems and / or work in an IT Hardware environment
• Able to work productively, efficiently & effectively in tight timescales
• Diligent with attention to detail and quality
• Willing to learn, improve and adapt
• Using strong analytical skills

Desirable but not essential:

• Ideally but not essential able to handle heavy goods
