Warehouse Supervisor - freight forwarding - Heathrow Personnel : Job Details

Job OverviewMy clients a global well established freight forwarder based within the Heathrow area, this would be a crucial role within the operation, you would be overseeing x5 operatives and reporting to the warehouse manager.

Duties:

• Ensuring the smooth running of warehouse
• Overseeing x5 warehouse operatives
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients and transportation providers.
• Booking goods in/out of the warehouse
• Building pallets
• Bond checks
• Ensure compliance with CAA regulations
• Reporting to the warehouse manager

Skills required:

• 5 years + previous experience in freight forwarding
• Good knowledge of CAA legislation and compliance
• PC literate
• Steady work history
• Outstanding communication skills
• Good understanding of imports and exports- all modes

Working hours:

• 2 Shifts; 1. 0900-1800 2. 1200-2100 - working 5 days a week between Monday- Sunday (on a rota)
