Our client are a global luxury Jewellery brand with a huge celebrity following. We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join their logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient and accurate management of goods. You will manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and that goods are processed in a timely and cost-effective manner. Additionally, you will support the logistics team by implementing process improvements, coordinating with other departments to meet company standards and customer expectations
Office hours: Monday - Friday, no Bank holiday or weekend working apart from Peak November - December some weekend work is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring efficient daily operations.
* Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor performance, providing training and development opportunities.
* Foster a culture of accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork.
* Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of jewellery items
* Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits to prevent discrepancies.
* Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all products meet company standards before dispatch.
* Regularly monitor key metrics such as order accuracy, picking and packing speed, Quality control, and stock discrepancies. Analyse these metrics to identify trends, strengths, and areas needing improvement.
* Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize warehouse operations.
* Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) to track inventory and manage workflow.
* Coordinate with Merchandising, Retail, Product Design, Wholesale and Customer care teams to align warehouse activities with business objectives.
* Ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders, minimizing errors and delays.
* Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners, including suppliers and logistics providers.
* Address and resolve any issues related to order fulfilment and customer service.
* Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, order accuracy, and productivity metrics.
* Analyse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
* Recommend and implement improvements to enhance warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.
COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
* Previous background in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally within the jewellery or luxury goods industry
* Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
* Prior experience with the Peoplevox warehouse management system / Shopify e-commerce platform is desirable.
* Forklift license would be a bonus
