WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

HORSHAM

£25K - £27K

Lloyd Recruitment Services are collaborating with a family run courier business on the outskirts of Horsham. They are looking to hire a Logistics Supervisor to work within their branch.

This is a fast paced, hands on role, with a combination of standard warehouse duties and back office administrative support. The right candidate will need to have a good understanding of shipping, warehouse or logistics processes, ideally with exposure to an office environment.

Main duties of the Warehouse Supervisor:

• Supporting the daily warehouse functions, including loading, unloading, picking, packing and conducting quality checks on products
• Completing shipping paperwork
• Inputting freight information onto the company system
• Liaising with couriers and external shipping providers
• Tracking and monitoring parcels to ensure timely delivery
• Liaising with clients and rectifying any concerns
• Fostering professional and collaborative client relationships
• Providing ad hoc cover to other sites as required (Crawley, Horley)

Necessary experience/skills:

• Drivers' licence essential
• Experience within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Background in customer support roles (advantageous)
• Excellent administrative and computer skills
