About Our Client:Our client is an industry leader, specialising in the supply of construction materials (mechanical and electrical). Located in Beeston, Nottingham, Proactive Staff are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to fulfil this amazing permanent job opportunity. No weekends!• Immediate start• Amazing, inclusive company culture for team players• Great facilities, location, and perks• Parking, Pension and ProgressionJob Description:Reporting into the Warehouse lead, the main function of this role is to lead the Warehouse afternoon Team effectively to provide the best customer experience possible through effective communication, teamwork, and a consistency of service which is valued by all customers and colleagues.Culture is everything at this company! To be successful you will need values and ethics in abundance!Key Responsibilities:• “Customer first” approach to all aspects of the role • Ability to manage, plan, coordinate and control the efficient preparation of orders with “Right First Time” mentality • Create a positive team culture with a ‘can do’ attitude and driving continuous improvement whilst reducing errors.• Oversee all warehouse operations, maintaining health & safety practices across all staff and processes • Motivate and develop a flexible team that can handle high workloads• Great written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels • Team player who also completes core duties (picking & packing) whilst managing others• Deliver training to staff• Team appraisals, performance reviews and development plans • Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management and reporting • Set example to the team, demonstrating clear expectations and providing solutions when necessary • Reduce errors and promote accuracy and quality throughout the team and wider business• Prepared to swap shifts when required (on rare occasions)Skills and QualificationsMUST have a valid driver’s licence (for moving vans on the premises)Reach & Counter Balance forklift licences desired, but not essentialStrong leadership skills with ability to motivate and inspire othersComputer literateDecision making Accountable Problem solving, and good judgement Multi-tasking Time management (own and others) DrivenHow to Apply:If you would like to apply for this amazing opportunity please click apply or get in touch with Maisie or Michael as soon as possible.
