Minster is a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for an Operations Manager(Warehouse/Transport) who's as passionate about great service as we are.
Hours - 7.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Managing team of 4 Warehouse Operatives and 5 Drivers
- Managing a small team of warehouse staff and drivers, ensuring all team members are prepared and ready for their day
- Run the transport operations for the branch - load planning and delivery routes
- Support Branch Manager with operations: driver and warehouse staff health and safety compliance
- Directly support warehouse team with preparing and loading/unloading orders when necessary (forklift training provided)
- Provide an excellent level of service for all customers
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts and producing reports on stock management for branch
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience
- Previous industry experience is beneficial
- Experience within warehouse and transport management
- Confident in a hands-on, sometimes physical role
- Flexible with a positive can-do attitude
