Warehousing Dispatch with FLT - pyramid8 : Job Details

Pyramid8 are recruiting for a temp to perm Warehouse Dispatch person based in Castleford

Responsibilities

• Pack and dispatch finished goods and roll stock materials, ranging from small parcels to multi-pallet shipments.
• To conduct regular quality checks on incoming goods, and to ensure that all finished goods are inspected before dispatch.
• Deal with customers at the trade counter for collections and counter sales.
• Operate a FLT to load and unload materials to and from vehicles or storage racking.
• To prepare and submit relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

• Numerate & Literate
• Computer Experience preferred
• Manual handling experience
• H&S aware
• Forklift truck licence
• Experience with conveyor belts or equipment is preferential.
• Able to read drawings
• Use measuring devices, tape measure, protractor, set square etc.
• Quality checking
• Experience of organising third party transport i.e. couriers, freight etc.
• Have an appreciation of our legal obligations regarding waste management
