Waste Manager£250 to £350 per dayNewport, Isle of WightPertemps Isle of Wight are seeking an experienced waste manager to join our client, on a temporary ongoing basis. Based in Newport Isle of Wight, this position will be based on full time hours.As the successful waste manager your main responsibilities will include.- Daily management of waste site.- Lead by example at all times.- Monitor skips and containers to ensure they aren't overloaded.- Conduct investigations when appropriate, to find cause of any accidents/ incidents.- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.- Monitor employee activities and provide guidance where needed at all times.- Encourage and create a positive work environment at all times.- Deliver suitable training to the team, where appropriate.- Carry out regular audits and observations of all site operations.- Be flexible tin approach to working.The ideal candidate will come from a similar background, and must have supervising experience, as well as hold valid UK driver's licence.To apply for the role, please upload a copy of your most recent CV or email
