About Us:

SES Home Services is a sister company of SES Water and is owned by a group of external shareholders. The company was founded in 1989 after water privatisation and serves both direct customers and insurance claims. Our services include boiler servicing, repair and installations; plumbing; drainage and external service pipe laying.

Our Water Technicians carry out inspection work to meet the needs of the company, our third-party providers and customers.

About You:

We are looking for engaged individuals who are passionate about delivering great customer service to join us on our journey and work as a Water Technician. You will have:

  • Proven experience within the water industry
  • An understanding of water regulations (the National Water Hygiene / EUSR qualification would be a bonus!)
  • At least an NVQ Level 1 in Plumbing
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • The ability to approach and resolve problems logically
  • Excellent customer service skills (verbal and written communication are key)

The Job:

  • Carry out Plumbing inspector, Surveys and repair work across a range of contracts, including but not limited to SES Water workstreams, clients and customers.
  • Carry out internal and external water meter repairs or replacements
  • Carrying out water efficiency audits as required
  • Identifying high consumption and rectifying where applicable
  • Reading internal and external domestic and non-domestic water meters and accurately recording information.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of customer, health, safety, environmental and quality standards on site, and to ensure other interested parties are always given full consideration and respect.
  • The highest work standards and compliance with health & safety regulations are at the centre of the service we provide, and you will be expected to be an advocate of these core principles.
  • Carry out all other reasonable requests within your skillset and capabilities to suit the business needs when required.
