Web Developer - TIGER RESOURCING SOLUTIONS LIMITED : Job Details

***3 days a week in the office (Kingston, SW London) and Wed & Friday at home/ remote***

Mid-level Developer, Web Developer, Fullstack, PHP, Javascript, SASS, CSS, MySQL, WordPress or SilverStripe or Magento, Git, WebPack/ Yarn.

A tech company in and around Kingston upon Thames (SW London) are looking for a mid-weight Web Developer/ Fullstack Developer to be able to code PHP and frontend technologies to build websites, products, apps and campaigns.

The role is HYBRID with 3 days a week in the Kingston office and Weds/ Fri working remotely.

Skills & knowledge:

• Writing clear, performant and re-usable code in the following areas:
• Coding - HTML,CSS/SASS, Javascript (ES6+), PHP and MySQL.
• Platforms - SilverStripe, Magento, WordPress.

Further Skills:

• You work with Git and tooling such as Webpack and Yarn package manager. This allows you to work on medium complexity projects, often of longer delivery timeframes than your more junior colleagues.
• You adopt a "mobile first" approach to the development of websites. Experience using profiling tools and following best practice optimisations with help from senior colleagues.
• You ensure that your output is of high quality and tested thoroughly.
• You proactively resolve issues and bugs quickly and effectively.
• You have a good understanding of the end-to-end setup up and configuring of server installations. Knowledge and experience in using some AWS services.
• Configuring deployment tools, e.g. DeployHQ.
• Monitoring systems, e.g. StatusCake
• Security and performance, e.g. CloudFlare
