Our client are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Website Manager to lead the growth of their e-commerce stores across the UK and Europe. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Shopify, digital marketing, and data analysis, combined with a collaborative approach to working across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:E-commerce Growth: Manage and expand Shopify-based e-commerce stores across the UK and Europe, including markets in France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and Ireland. Oversee the expansion into additional European territories.
Google Ads Management: Work closely with the Performance Marketing Executive to ensure Google Ads campaigns are aligned with sales strategies in each region. Focus on both brand awareness and web sales, achieving key KPIs across all territories.
Data Analysis & Optimisation: Collaborate with the marketing team to analyse email, sales, and digital marketing performance data. Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization to drive traffic and increase conversions.
Sales Forecasting & Inventory Management: Use statistical models to forecast sales and inventory needs. Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure product availability across all markets.
Website Development: Create and manage content blocks using basic web development tools (HTML/CSS). Work with a US-based development team to implement functionalities such as UX improvements and payment processing gateways.
Customer Support Integration: Partner with the Customer Support team to deploy, train, and supervise the use of an AI-based chatbot for customer service across all markets.
KPI Reporting & Strategy: Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for each territory, including revenue, conversion rate, traffic, and SEM activity. Develop and implement strategies to improve these metrics.
Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities for traffic growth and increased conversion rates.
Qualifications and Skills:
Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to recognise success or failure in campaigns and website performance, and take appropriate corrective actions.
Data-Driven Decision Making: A good understanding of UK/EU customer behavior, using data to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Web Development Knowledge: Proficient in HTML and CSS, with Liquid knowledge being a plus. Experience in web development project management is preferred.
Digital Advertising Expertise: Experience with various digital advertising tools, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and email marketing platforms.
Statistical Knowledge: Familiarity with statistical models for sales forecasting and stock management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or higher) in marketing, business, or a related field preferred
Experience: 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, specifically with platforms like Magento or Shopify.
