Key responsibilities:
- You’ll be responsible for effectively handling and converting weddings and special events enquiries from initial stages through to final details, followed by the accurate communication of client requirements to the Operational team
- You’ll drive the weddings and events sales strategy forward through implementing sales and marketing initiatives to increase sales and achieve targets
- Conduct show rounds for weddings and special events, ensuring that correct information is given to the appropriate enquiry
- Assist with organisation of Wedding Showcases to highlight the property to the local wedding and banqueting market
What do you need to qualify for this role?
- Experience in Weddings and Events planning and conversion with a hotel or wedding venue
- Great leadership skills are essential, with the ability to manage people
- Proactive attitude and hunger for sales
- You will need great interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate your teams
- Commercial awareness of the weddings and events market is essential, alongside a level of creativity and innovation to excel within this market
