Weighbridge Operative - Randstad Delivery (GBS) : Job Details

Are you an experienced Weighbridge Operative or have strong customer service experience?Do you have experience working with weighbridges, logistics, or administrative roles in an industrial setting? Are you currently located in and around Reading?

We are seeking a Weighbridge Operative to join our team at Theale, Reading for our client, Aggregate Industries.

• Pay: Up to £14.50 per hour, depending on experience
• Client: Aggregate Industries
• Location: Theale, Reading, RG7 5HH
• Shifts: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; Monday to Friday
• Hours: 45 hours per week
• Duration: Long-term hire with potential for permanent employment

• Operating the weighbridge, ensuring accurate recording of vehicle weights
• Liaising with drivers, customers, and site staff to ensure efficient operations
• Completing necessary documentation and data entry for material movements
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety around the weighbridge area
• Assisting with general site administration and coordination
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Carrying out additional reasonable tasks as required

• Prior weighbridge experience OR strong customer service experience in a logistics/industrial setting
• Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach

• Basic IT and administrative skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
