Welder/Fabricator - Tennial Personnel : Job Details

Tennial Personnal are actively seeking skilled Welders / Fabricators to join our client based in Ipswich on a temporary to permanent basis (would go permanent after a successful 12 week qualifying period), working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. The role specialises in structural and architectural steelwork, requiring strong technical skills. The ideal candidate will contribute to creating high-quality steel structures for a variety of applications, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.Skills:Welding & Fabrication:Weld and fabricate steel components using MIG, TIG, or ARC welding techniques.Work with structural and architectural steel components to meet project specifications.Interpretation of Technical Drawings:Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical schematics.Ensure measurements and designs are precise for each project.Quality Assurance:Inspect work for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.Test welds and fabricated items for durability and safety.Collaboration:Work closely with team members to meet project deadlines.Communicate effectively with project managers and supervisorsQualifications:• Experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with structural and architectural steelwork.• Proficiency in operating welding machines, grinders, and other workshop equipment.• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.• Ability to read and follow technical drawings.• A Counterbalance Forklift License is beneficial but not essential.Keywords:Welding Fabricating MIG TIG ARC Welding
