Pertemps are recruiting for a MIG Welder to join a leading supplier as their business continues to grow. Our client is a national supplier of site accommodation & shipping containers, known for their commitment to durability, customer satisfaction, and innovative designs tailored to meet customer needs.This is a full-time, permanent position based in Southampton.Welder Duties:- Assisting the workshop team with daily duties in the repair, preparation and conversion of products- Read and understand technical drawings- Cleaning and preparing metal surfaces using scrapers and grinders to remove rough spots- MIG Welding- Prepping welds for paint- Drive company van when requiredWelder Requirements:- Previous experience MIG welding- Ability to read and understand technical drawings- Willing to adapt to a dynamic workload- Full UK driving licenseWelder Package;- Monday to Friday- 45 hour week- Overtime avaliable- £14 per hour- Full time, Permanent, On site- Company events- Company pension- Cycle to work scheme- Life insurance- On-site parking- Profit sharing- Sick pay- Wellness programIf you are interested in this Welder position, please apply with an up to date CV or get in contact with Lily at Pertemps.
