Venn Group have been approached by a Housing Association and would like to introduce the following position available

Position:          Welfare and Financial Support Advisor

Location:          Liverpool - Hybrid role

Rate:                 £20.00 p/hour (Umbrella rate)

Length:             8 weeks chances of extension  

Hours:              37 hours p/week (Mon- Fri)

The role will predominantly involve:

• Delivering interventions and specialist support to customers through a partnership approach, promoting financial wellbeing and maximising income for customers and the Business
• Delivering a person-centred advocacy model for financial wellbeing and signposting to specialist support
• Providing money management/budgeting skills and identifying available financial support, either through benefits eligibility available or signposting to other specialist agencies that could support the customer
• Completing affordability assessments for customers
• Providing an advisory service to customers

To be considered for this role you will need to have experience in working in a Customer facing role, have prior experience specific to the provision of financial support and/or comprehensive understanding of issues relating to financial difficulties and/or Welfare benefits. The successful candidate will need to be available to start within a 1 week notice to be considered for this role.
