Welfare Assistant
- Annual Salary: £22,085 - £27,685 (depending on experience)

- Working Hours: 30-36 hours per week (negotiable to suit candidate's needs), Monday to Friday starting at 8:30 AM with flexible hours across the week

Join a supportive primary school in Hillingdon as a Welfare Assistant. The role involves supporting the well-being and educational journey of children during term time.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Supervise students during non-classroom times including before and after school, and during lunch and recess.
- Assist in managing the general health and well-being of students.
- Administer first aid, manage medications, and maintain health records of students as needed.
- Support the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
- Be responsive to the varying needs of the children and collaborate with educational staff to support individual student needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for all students.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other school staff regarding student welfare and behaviour as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A caring and understanding nature with the ability to relate well to children and adults.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with varying schedules.
- First aid certification is advantageous.
