Service: Managing a cluster of MH services within the Bromley borough
Salary: £28,629 per annum
Hours: 38 Hours PW

Who are Ambient Support?
Ambient Support, a registered UK charity with over 25 years' experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with a mental health needs and people with learning disabilities.
The Role of our Wellbeing Service Lead
You will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with Ambient Support policies and procedures and CQC Fundamental Standards.
Key responsibilities of our Wellbeing Service Lead:
* Empower and engage your team to do their very best work and create an environment and culture that promotes Ambient Support as a great place to work.
* To effectively manage budgets, both in relation to the people you serve.
* To ensure that each individual has the means to express their needs and wishes and that methods of communication are clearly recorded and shared with all members of the team.
* To ensure that the best interests of each person we support are at the centre of any decisions made about their life, and to work in partnership with them, their advocates, family, friends and significant others.
* Lead the Operational Performance of their service(s) ensuring compliance with all statutory and contractual requirements to proactively identify, escalate, and contribute to the management of potential risks.
* Ensure the quality and compliance of all activities and actions that relate to the support the individuals we serve.
* To lead continuous improvement approach to our Quality Framework and undertake appropriate audits.
* To embed the service model associated with the services you are responsible for including embracing best practise, focusing on active support and enabling people to move out of services.
* To work in partnership with families and other significant people in the person's life to ensure the best possible care and support is provided.
* Enabling each person to be in control of their life.
* Respecting the values, beliefs, and culture of each individual.
* Ensuring that any concerns, complaints or requests are responded to effectively and timely.
* Assessing and minimising risks in order to keep each individual safe.
* Creating an environment where people can problem solve and find solutions together
Skills and attributes of our Wellbeing Service Lead:
* Willing to complete the Care Certificate.
* Possess Care Certificate but the Diploma in Health & Social Care or related qualification would be an asset.
* Level 3 QCF or willingness to undertake.
* Significant experience of working for people with enduring mental health issues.
* Working in partnership with families and significant others.
* Have or be prepared to embed the service model associated with the customer group you are working for i.e., active support or recovery star approach.
* An awareness and understanding or diversity issues, including non-discriminatory practice.
* Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues within the workplace.
* Literacy skills (for report writing), verbal skills (for communication) and numeracy skills (for management budgets.
