1st Choice Bedford are currently working with a bespoke framing company that are seeking a Wood Worker to join the business at a pivotal time of their growth plans.

The ideal candidate will have some background working with wood, whether through formal education or practical experience. This is an entry-level position, suitable for a school leaver or someone willing to undergo training to develop their skills.

Minimum wage initially, with potential for advancement based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Cutting and shaping wood to precise measurements using hand and power tools.
• Assembling and joining wood pieces to create components.
• Sanding and finishing to ensure a smooth and polished surface.
• Assisting in the preparation of materials for production.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Following safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Background working with wood preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
