• Fixed-term contract of 12 months
• £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

The Role

As our new Video Researcher and Writer, you will be at the heart of planning and producing compelling stories for our genealogical cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and research cases, focusing on the story behind each estate
• Create and develop scripts and storyboards in collaboration with videographers
• Liaise with beneficiaries for permission to include information in video productions
• Research background details on each case and write scripts
• Ensure scripts meet copyright requirements and legal standards
• Collaborate with staff to finalise storylines and case presentations

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone creative, organised, and driven to tell impactful stories. You will have:

• Experience in media research, scriptwriting, or film production
• Education in Media, Film production, or a related subject
• Strong research skills with an eye for detail
• Knowledge of copyright and legal considerations in media
• Excellent written communication skills
