Your new companyHays are currently working with a primary school in the Leigh area to help them secure a Teaching Assistant to start in January on a long-term basis - potentially permanent for the right candidate. This is a school that provides a high quality of education that is offered to every child, as well as our beautiful learning environment. They have a great staff network and a strong partnership with the families within the school community. Your new roleYou will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the Y6 class teacher as the school takes the class through SATs. You will need to work on a 1:1 and group basis, providing additional support to children through intervention sessions. You will need to hold strong knowledge of the primary curriculum in order to support the children academically. What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you must have recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. As the schools are recruiting immediately, it would be ideal if you could jump straight into the role, however, do not let this put you off applying, as we are always receiving new roles.
