Year 1 Teacher - Reed : Job Details

Salary: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)Location: BradfordDates: Sept 2024- Mar 2025 Reed Education are supporting a Primary School in Bradford with the recruitment of an experienced KS1 teacher to their team on a temporary basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is eager to contribute to their ethos of nurturing students and delivering an exciting curriculum. The role is full-time teaching a Year 1 class.

Day to Day of the role:

• Deliver outstanding classroom practice and contribute to the learning and development of KS1 pupils
• Engage in shared planning and collaboration with colleagues
• Lead a curriculum subject confidently, contributing to the school’s development
• Foster a happy, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all children
• Implement effective pedagogy to raise attainment and accelerate progress
• Work cooperatively with colleagues, children, parents, governors, and external agencies
• Reflect on teaching practices and lead by example, promoting a culture of continuous improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven track record in teaching and learning within Reception or KS1 is essential
• Strong commitment to raising pupil achievement
• Ability to work as an active member of the school team
• Commitment to inclusion and the ability to cater to all children
