Position: Year 1 Teacher

Employment Type: Full Time (8.30am to 4pm)

About Us:

We are working with a happy, friendly and inclusive school situated within Hornchurch, in the Borough of Havering. This happy, busy and caring primary school is looking for a Year 1 Teacher experienced with SEN for an ASAP start. This position will continue in January. Every pupil’s unique potential is nurtured and celebrate. If you have at least 1 years’ experience, please read on!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Differentiate lessons for SEN children with EHCPs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback accordingly.
• Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school.
• Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: QTS or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience teaching a Key Stage 1 Class
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
• Desirable: SEN experience
