Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher looking to make a difference in a vibrant primary school? Reed Education is recruiting for a Year 1 Class Teacher to join a fantastic team in Lambeth.

As a Year 1 Class Teacher, you will:

• Teach students in allocated classes, following the school’s plans, curriculum, and schemes of work.
• Plan and prepare well-structured lessons that inspire, motivate, and challenge students.
• Assess, monitor, record, and report on the learning needs, progress, and achievements of your students.
• Promote high standards of literacy and numeracy across the curriculum.
• Maintain good order and discipline among students, managing behaviour effectively in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school’s and trust’s policies, practices, and procedures.
• Cover for absent colleagues as per the school cover policy.

• Relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Demonstrable teaching experience across EYFS/KS1/KS2.
• Excellent and up-to-date curriculum knowledge.
• Effective behaviour management strategies and the ability to adapt teaching to meet students’ needs.
• Proficiency in using ICT to support learning.
• Ability to build effective relationships with students and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
