• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons for Year 1 students
• Encourage confidence and curiosity in young learners
• Assess and track student progress to support development
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and staff to maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school (Key Stage 1 experience preferred)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two references from the last five years, including one safeguarding reference
