The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the Year 2 curriculum.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels supported and valued.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
• Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in activities and events.

The Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 1.
• A strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning experience for young learners.
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to support and inspire children of all abilities.
• A team player with great communication and interpersonal skills.
