• Salary: £162.31 - £207.38 per day
• Job Type: Full time (Maternity Cover)
• Start Date: February 2025 - July 2025 (Or when the postholder returns)

We are looking for a motivated Year 5 Class Teacher to join a vibrant school in Lancaster. This position offers a competitive daily rate and the opportunity to contribute to the teacher’s pension scheme via LCC. The school is rated good by OFSTED and has an excellent reputation locally. 

• Deliver engaging and educational lessons to Year 3 students.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to enhance their learning experience.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) is highly desirable but not essential. 
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and teaching standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
