Year 3 teacher - Academics : Job Details

We are currently recruiting a year 3 teacher for one of our "good" 2 form entry schools in West Leeds. This position is to commence after the Easter holidays.

The role?

This year 3 teacher role is a long term teaching position and there is scope for a permanent position after completing a couple of terms.

This position will suit someone who wants to have their own class and will include planning differentiated lessons, marking and assessing all pupils and providing feedback to both parents/care through reports and meetings.

This is a lovely well behaved class and the school have high expectations and will want the teacher to follow these expectations.

As a year 3 teacher you will be expected to follow the school ethos and behaviour policies which are all about positive reinforcements.

This school is currently rated by Ofsted as a 'good' school both academically and within the community. It is a 2 form entry school with pupils from different backgrounds and cultures.

Ideal candidate?

• Fully qualified teacher
• Experienced within KS2 classes, especially as a year 3 teacher
• Experienced with lesson preparation and planning
• A valid DBS or willing to apply for one
